Heya!

Kumusta Na!

안녕하세용!

My name is: James (Jay) Ruel Niere.

I am a UC Berkeley EECS (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) major who loves the niche of code and creatvity.

This is my personal potfolio website
with coding projects I have done over time.

Enjoy seeing a visual representation of
my journey as a Software Engineer!

we are the clay, and you are our potter;

we are all the work of your hand.” Isaiah 64:8

Fun Facts

Hello! My name is James Niere, if there is anything that I want people to know about me, is that I am a Christian saved and found through the amazing grace of God. I was a wretched sinner who was lost beyond imagination, but is forgivem by the great love of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

I am Berkeley EECS major who discovered my passion for code throughout college, more specifically, in the field of Front End Software Engineering. Additionally, in the STEM field, I have done my fair share of research on (Nutritional Science), AI (Artificial Intelligence), Economics (Socio-Economic (Tech/Social), and Language Acquisition).

Aside from STEM, I am also interested in Lingustics as I speak 3 languages fluently for everyday life (English and Tagalog) (fluent), Korean (독학으로 배웠습니다 - recognized as fluent from UC Berkeley, tested out all elementary level Korean classes (out of the 1,10, and 100A series) did not take any Korean class explicitly but tested out for fun).

Fun Fact: I also have a passion for music, more specifically for lyric writing, as I got to work with and become friends with a Korean rapper 다민이 (Damini), who featured on one of Korea's most premier hip-hop youtube platforms (DingoFreestyle 2.02 Million Subscribers on Youtube) and Korea's most famous rap show 쇼미더머니 (Show Me The Money).

“Show it and prove it don’t just say it, words are cheap, but actions are valued” - 잠언

On the right hand side are some values I firmly believe in and try to strongly adhere to.
